Use of recycled material
Sustain, our sustainable alloy, contains up to 80% recycled material. This reduces the need to exploit new resources and contributes to reducing the overall ecological footprint.
Electricity from renewable sources
The production of Sustain is completely covered by electricity from renewable sources. In this way, we reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support the transition towards clean energy sources.
Our sustainability program promises high performance with a minimal environmental footprint containing a maximum of 2 tons of CO₂ per ton of aluminum. This variant uses up to 80% recycled material and is produced with electricity from renewable sources.
Customers have the opportunity to obtain certificates for CO₂ emissions that save compared to the European or global average. They can also transparently demonstrate their contribution to the sustainability strategy.
In order to achieve a high recycling rate of 80%, we continuously work on process optimization. Our ability to use different types of waste allows us flexibility and sustainability in production.
